Sonam Kapoor thanks Raman Singh for making Neerja tax free in Chattisgarh

Mumbai, Feb 28 (IBNS): Actress Sonam Kapoor on Sunday thanked Chattisgarh CM Raman Singh for making her latest released movie Neerja tax free in his state.

"Chattisgarh tax free! Thank you Chief minister #ramansingh sir! Thank you for making #Neerja tax free!Very thrilled! " Kapoor tweeted.

Directed by Ram Madhvani, produced by Atul Kasbekar and presented by Fox Star Studios, Neerja is  a film based on the heroic story of Neerja Bhanot who sacrificed her life while saving passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 on 5 September 1986.

The film hit the silver screen recently.
