Singer Shan's mother passes away

Mumbai/UNI Famous Hindi film and Indi-pop singer Shan lost his mother on Thursday.

Singer and friend Kailash Kher informed the news through a tweet, expressing his condolences.

"Shan's mother passed away. Pray for the liberation of the departed soul from god. I pray to God, the ruler of the three worlds, to give our Shan Bhaiya's family the strength to bear this suffering," he tweeted.

Shan also took to social media to inform his fans about his mother's demise.

Fans have expressed their condolences over social media.
