Shahid Kapoor completes 13 years in B-town

Mumbai, May 9 (IBNS) Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor completed 13 years in the world of Bollywood on Monday.

"Thank you all for trending #13YearsOfShahidKapoor #shanatics you all are beyond awesome. How bout a quick qna session," he tweeted.

He later participated in a question-answer session with his fans.

Born in 1981 to actor Pankaj Kapur and actress-dancer Neelima Azeem, Kapoor made his debut in 2003 with Ishq Vishk and won a Filmfare Award for Best debut male.

Known for his dancing skills, Kapoor started off with romantic and light roles before setting it up with action movies.

Though his latest movie Shaandaar bombed at the box-office, his earlier role in Haider saw him pick another Filmfare Award for best actor.

After a long stint with several contemporaries, Kapoor finally tied the nuptial knot with Mira Rajput in 2015.

He will soon be seen in Udta Punjab.
