Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan releases in Bangladesh, receives positive response

Dhaka: Bangladesh's box office witnessed a significant movement on Friday as  Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan's last released movie 'Pathaan' hit the silverscreen in the country.

It is the first Bollywood movie to release theatrically in Bangladesh since its formation in 1971.

According to reports, the movie was released across 41 theatres in the country.

There will be 206 shows of the movie every day.

“Pathaan” has been released in Bangladesh under SAFTA agreement. According to the import conditions, Shakib Khan's “Panku Jamai” has been exported to India. “Pathaan” has been imported in Bangladesh by Action Cut Entertainment, reports UNB.

Apart from Khan, the movie also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.

Pathan emerged as one of the biggest releases in India this year.
