Ranbir Kapoor's sister Riddhima welcomed Alia Bhatt to the Kapoor family with a heart-touching message on Instagram on Friday.

She wrote: "Couldn’t have asked for a better addition to our family! @aliaabhatt We love you and can’t wait to be a part of this incredible journey you both have embarked on! Welcome to the family my precious girl -But you always were a part of it ."

Putting rest to all speculations, the most awaited wedding took place in Mumbai on Thursday with actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tying the nuptial knot in their 'favourite spot' and amidst the presence of their friends and family members.

The power couple dated for five years and will be soon seen pairing onscreen in Ayan Mukerji's upcoming film Brahmastra.
