Priyanka Chopra speaks about bridging the gap between people of society in an ad campaign

Mumbai, June 7 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who is a popular face on American television and also in Hollywood, recently spoke about bridging the gap between different kinds of people of society in an ad campaign made by the American company GAP.

The 34 years old actress uploaded a picture wearing a white tee will other actors on Instagram.

Chopra, who is the global goodwill ambassador of UNICEF in a few minutes video made by GAP, said: "I think bridging the gap is exactly what the world needs right now. There are so many gaps in this world that need to be filled.  We in this generation and our children going forward would need to have a relatively evolved sense of thinking which goes beyond race. "

"Celebrating one's differences does not necessarily mean to be different. Celebrating our differences is being proud of where you come from and engulfing other people who are different into your world" she added.

In a video uploaded on Instagram, GAP said: "gap Since 1969, we’ve been about transcending differences — it’s in our jeans. We’re proud to partner with @edward_enninful, appointed @britishvogue editor-in-chief to create this video. It celebrates optimistic American style, the diversity that makes each of us unique, and how Gap white tees (plus one beautiful song) can bring us all together. That’s #BridgingTheGap."

GAP is an American clothing and accessories retailer that was founded way back in 1969.

Chopra, who played the lead role in two seasons of an American television series, Quantico, debuted in Hollywood with Baywatch, this year.

She is currently returning to India after completing her promotional tour of Baywatch.
