The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress said, "We feel very, very happy as an industry that a film like Pathaan is not just a blockbuster, possibly the biggest blockbuster of Indian cinema. I think everybody should definitely clap for that once. We feel grateful for moments like these and pray that ye hota rahe (this should happen more often)."

Varun Dhawan agreed and added, "Not just grateful, it is also inspirational for all of us."

On being asked about her reaction that Pathaan broke Brahmastra's BO record, Alia said, "Every film should break every film's record. I am very happy with that."
