Mumbai, May 4 (IBNS): The makers of Sanjay Dutt's biopic Sanju, have released the Munnabhai poster from the film.

Incidentally, Hirani debuted with the Munnabhai series, which also paved a comeback for duo Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi, who essayed the role of Munnaibhai and Circuit respectively.

Sharing the picture, business analyst and Bollywood movie reviewer Taran Adarsh tweeted, "The #Sanju posters are bringing back so many memories... Now here comes Munnabhai... The much-loved character was an instant hit with moviegoers and added to the growing fan-base of Sanju... Also marked the directorial debut of the supremely talented storyteller Rajkumar Hirani."

Sanju stars Ranbir Kapoor as the titular character alongside a host of other actors.

The movie is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Hirani and long-time associate Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

Santanu Moitra and Amaal Mallik have scored for the film, which is slated for Jun 29 release.
