Kejriwal heckled by women political activists at Delhi and Ludhiana stations

New Delhi, Sept 8 (IBNS) : Women activists belonging to rival political parties on Thursday heckled Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at New Delhi and Ludhiana railway stations as he began a four-day Punjab visit for poll campaign in the state.

The demonstrators were protesting against the alleged misconduct of AAP MLAs and demanding expulsion of party spokesman  Ashutosh for his controversial blog defending  former minister Sandeep Kumar, who was sacked  over an alleged sex scandal.

Reports said slogan shouting  women activists of BJP and its ally Akali Dal and Congress greeted Kejriwal as he  got down from the Delhi-Ludhiana-Amritsar Shatabdi express at Ludhiana railway station, shouting 'go back' slogans at him.

Kejriwal faced another group of agitators when he  stepped out of the railway station.

In the morning,  protests took place at the New Delhi railway station where Kejriwal boarded the train.

Kejriwal was even reportedly pushed by the activists who jostled their way to the Chief Minister.  The women shouted slogans against Sandeep Kumar and demanded a statement from Kejriwal.
