Mumbai, Nov 2 (IBNS): While Diwali is a festival that people often tend to spend with their near and dear ones, immersed in fun frolic. John Abraham has a rather thought provoking message this festive season.

The actor is recognizing the efforts of the unsung heroes, the brave members of the Indian Army, who are away from their families defending the country.

John Abraham shares, "My hearty greetings to the Indian Army. You'll are the real heroes for us. While we will be celebrating the festival of lights with our loved ones, there are these heroes who won’t even get a chance to meet and greet their families this festive season. We as a nation are indebted to you'll. Thank you all for your courage, patriotism and selflessness to make sure we all sleep peacefully in our homes. Jai Hind !"

The actor will also be visiting Amar Jawan Jyoti in New Delhi early this month to pay his respects to martyrs.

He also wants to raise awareness about soldiers whose efforts haven’t been recognised as well as the army’s contribution.

John Abraham plans to file a petition to recognize the efforts and dedication of the Indian Army and the jawans fighting at India’s borders. The petition aims to have the names of these unsung heroes get the recognition they deserve.

The thought comes from the fact that the actor has got into the shoes of a RAW agent for Vipul Amrutlal Shah's next Force 2.

The film will feature John as ACP Yashvardhan who teams up with RAW Agent KK played by Sonakshi Sinha to bring down a master mind terrorist Shiv.

Presented by Viacom18 Motion Pictures in association with Sunshine Pictures Pvt.Ltd. and JA Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, Force 2 produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and John Abraham, directed by Abhinay Deo, is all set to release on Nov 18.
