Kick girl Jacqueline Fernandez feels wedding completes love. TWF correspondent Sreya Basu chats up with the actress in Mumbai as she reveals her wedding plans

According to you, what is the definition of wedding?

For me, it is a ceremony where two people come together and celebrate their love and complete it.

When are you planning to get married?

I often think about it … that if I want to get married now. But all young girls dream of a beautiful wedding and one day I too will get married for sure.

What do you think is the most important thing on a wedding day?

I have many friends who are already married and (they talk about) the stress they have gone through on their wedding day.  So the most important part of a marriage is proper planning and for that you need proper guidance. But thankfully, now-a-days many books like The Great Indian Wedding Book  are available in the market so that makes things easier, I guess.

Talking of dream wedding, do you have any plan for your own D-day, whenever it happens?

Well, I have not discovered that myself yet. But knowing my nature, I know I will have to depend on one of the guidebooks and plan my wedding accordingly.  On a second thought, I want a destination wedding. It will be very, very interesting and fun to be in another country with all your friends and family and just enjoy that. I want to make my wedding feel like a holiday and a celebration for everyone.

Are you in a relationship?

I am single at the moment.

What kind of soul mate are you looking for?

My soul mate should have that only one quality … we should have a good connection. I don’t think I am looking for anything specific in a person, I just want to feel that connection and it only happens when you meet the person who is right for you.

You have done six films in Bollywood so far and you have never dubbed your lines. For the first time you have dubbed for Kick. How was the experience?

It was very difficult. It was Salman (Khan) who gave me the idea of dubbing myself. After I was done with it, I felt amazing. I had so much pressure on me as Salman compared me to Zeenat Aman (yesteryear actress). It was the biggest compliment for me though I told him not to say that again.

What is beauty according to you?

When it comes to beauty it’s really about how you feel. For me, it’s always how I am feeling inside. The inner beauty is highly influenced by things like what you are eating, what you are doing,  what fitness regime you are following and what products are you using.  I am never concerned about weight, working out, building muscles and stuff like that. For me, it’s all about wellness and my aim is to make sure that my skin and my hair always look good.

What is that one thing you always carry in your purse?

I always carry a hand sanitizer, a lip balm and body musk – it’s so important to smell good.
