Mumbai, Aug 19 (IBNS): India's popular photographer Dabboo Ratnani on Monday wished people on World PhotographyDay and said he will keep choosing the art over and over again in life.

" #photography Chose U. I’ll Choose u Over & Over & Over. Without A Pause, Without A Doubt, In A Hearbeat. I’ll Keep Choosing You! Happy WorldPhotographyDay2019 @DabbooRatnaniDo What u Love, Love What u Do! Image Courtesy@manishadratnani@Dabboo#WorldPhotographyDay," he tweeted.

Aug 19 is observed across the globe as World Photography Day.

The day dates back to the invention of the daguerreotype.

Daguerreotypy, was the first publicly available photographic process, widely used during the 1840s and 1850s.

Invented by Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre and introduced worldwide in 1839, daguerreotype was almost completely superseded by 1860 with new, less expensive processes yielding more readily viewable images.
