Imran Khan invited by the Harvard University

Mumbai, Jan 13 (IBNS): Bollywood actor Imran Khan will speak about LGBT rights at an event at the esteemed University, next month.

Besides films, Imran Khan is known to invests his time in supporting a number of causes.

The actor has previously endorsed PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), and is also a staunch supporter of gay rights.

Now, Imran has been invited to speak about LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) rights at the Harvard University India Conference 2016, that will be held on February 6 and 7.

It will be hosted at the Harvard Business School and at the Harvard Kennedy School, USA.

Imran confirmed the news, and said, “I’ve always been a proud supporter of the LGBT community. There are issues they face that I feel strongly about. I’m honoured to have been given the opportunity to be part of this discussion on such a prestigious platform.”
