I enjoy doing films like Raid: Ajay Devgn

| @indiablooms | Mar 10, 2018, at 10:16 pm

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn will next be seen in crime-thriller film Raid, which is scheduled to release on March 16. As the Singham actor is busy in promoting the film, IBNS correspondent Souvik Ghosh tracks him

How do you choose characters which are not done by you in past?

My take on character is different every time. I have done Company then I did Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai but the characters were completely different. So it is important to think like the character. The character which I am playing in Raid is different from the one I did in Singham qualitatively. So I think like that.

What were the difficulties you have faced in the course of shooting for Raid?

I think it was very well planned except the travel. The traveling used to take four hours in total-two hours to go and two to come back.

What were the preparations you had to take for the role?

I do not work that hard and also I am not that dedicated. I am also not get paid that much to work so hard (smiles).

Do you look forward to do these kind of films like Raid, Singham?

If I say I look forward to these films then that would be unfair for other kinds of films. Obviously I enjoy working for these sort of films. I really wait to come across a script like this (script of Raid). Raid is also based on a true incident. We were taken aback when we heard about the true incident.

What would you like to say about the dialogues of the film?

They is very real. I think Ritesh (writer Ritesh Shah) has done a fabulous job. Keeping it real, he has got the punches I would say which are very beautiful. I am very excited about the dialogues.
