Hrithik turns an Indigo farmer in Mohenjo Daro

Mumbai, June 28 (IBNS) There was a lot of speculation and buzz about Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan's character in his upcoming movie Mohenjo Daro.

With Mohenjo Daro’s trailer release, it is finally out in the open that Hrithik is playing an Indigo farmer in the movie.

This will be the first time Hrithik will be seen playing a farmer onscreen.

Hrithik will be seen as an indigo farmer as indigo was a natural dye extracted from plants during ancient times.

The crop was also significant for barter exchange.

Mohenjo Daro's trailer also shows the old means of trading, the method which was used before money was coined. The barter system, taking us back to our History textbooks.

The trailer shows glimpses of Hrithik indulging in a conversation of Barter exchange. Hrithik is seen bargaining the barter in the trailer in his most eloquent style!

Last we saw Ashutosh Gowariker and Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan was during Jodhaa Akbar where Hrithik played his character effortlessly and with Mohenjo Daro the two will be seen recreate magic onscreen.

The trailer of Hrithik Roshan-starer Mohenjo Daro was viewed by 30 million people worldwide and has got a thumbs up from its audience.
