Director Madhur Bhandarkar tests COVID-19 positive

Mumbai: Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar on Saturday confirmed he tested positive for COVID-19.

He said he is suffering from mild symptoms.

Madhur said he is fully vaccinated against the virus.

"I have tested positive for Covid. Been Fully vaccinated but experiencing Mild symptoms. Have isolated myself. Those who came in contact with me in kindly get yourself tested. Please be safe & follow covid-19 protocols," he tweeted.

Several Bollywood celebrities have recently said they have tested COVID-19 positive.

India is witnessing a significant spike in cases in recent times.
