Dil Bechara: Sushant Singh Rajput acted in 2007 play Pukaar, his picture with team members is breaking internet

Mumbai: It was in 2007 when late actor Sushant Singh Rajput had acted in his first play and the internet is breaking with an image of him posing with the team members.

The play was titled Pukaar.

It was directed by Juuhi Babbar Sonii.

The image has gone viral at a time when movie lovers are eagerly waiting to watch his last acted movie Dil Bechara.

In the picture, young Sushant, who committed recently in his Mumbai residence, could be seen posing with his play team members.

The image was shared on Instagram by Juuhi.

Giving details of the play, she wrote: "I directed Sushant in 2 plays. In 2007 he acted in his first play, #PUKAAR & the other was a comedy,Dauda Dauda Bhaaga Bhaaga sa."

Infact he was spotted by a Balaji casting person while he was handling the tickets at the box office counter for one of the plays. TV aur filmstar banney ke baad bhi apne theatre ke dino ke doston se juda raha. Aur mere toh ek call par hamesha, behad busy hone ke baavajood, #Ekjutetheatregroup ke shows aur events par pohoch jaata tha. Mujhe Didi bulaata tha..& hamesha bohot pyaar se kehta tha "didi u were my first director" Sushant tumhe dekh kar hamesha kitni khushi hoti thi....yeh kya kiya mere bhai? " Infact he was spotted by a Balaji casting person while he was handling the tickets at the box office counter for one of the plays," she said.

She even mentioned that Sushant called her 'Didi' (elder sister).

She said Sushant kept contact with his friends from the theatre days after becoming a TV and later on a film star.

Meanwhile, his last acted movie Dil Bechara will release on Friday. It will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar.

The movie, which will also feature actress Sanjana, is a licensed adaptation of John Green’s novel The Fault In Our Stars.
