Deeply honoured and humbled by President Kovind's visit to my residence: Lata Mangeshkar

New Delhi, Aug 19 (UNI) India’s melody queen and legendary playback singer Lata Mangeshkar has said she is ‘deeply honoured’ and ‘humbled’ by President Ram Nath Kovind paying a visit to her residence.

Taking to Twitter, Lata said,’’Namaskar, was deeply honoured and humbled when the President of our country, Shri Ram Nath Kovindji, so gracefully came and met me at my residence. I stand in gratitude. Sir, you make us proud!”

Lata Mangeshkar also shared a candid photograph of herself chatting with the President.
