Deepika's response to Mumbai Airport security personnel asking for ID gets mixed reactions

Mumbai, June 22 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is getting praised and criticised simultaneously on internet for her response to the security personnel at the Mumbai Airport who had asked her to furnish Identity Document.

In a video which went viral online, Deepika is seen with her father Prakash Padukone, a former badminton player, entering the Mumbai Airport. When a security personnel asked for ID, the actress turned back and said: "Chaihiye? (Do you want?)".

However, the actress' response earned mixed reactions on internet.

One user commented in the post, "IMMEDIATELY TURNED WHEN HE SAID ID....QUEEN ISNT LIKE DONT U KNOW WHO I AM.....SHES ATTITUDE FREE.....THE MOST GROUNDED AND HUMBLE QUEEN....ALL ACTORS INSTEAD OF COPING EACH OTHER CLOTH LEARN SOME SENSE OF HUMOR FROM EACHOTHER..."

"She is really down to earth....tht'y people love her....she is amazing...love ya" pratimajain46 said.

Giving it back to Padukone, some users also criticised the Bollywood diva.

"What kind of question was that from dipika? ' Chahiye:?? What makes her think that she can enter the airport without showing her I'd proof?" rao.mamta said.

"Ain't she aware that one cannot enter airport without ID verification n top of that she is asking "chahiye"? how some fools call it "cooperation"  another user said.

On the work front, Deepika has recently finished shooting for filmmaker Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak. In the film, the actress will essay the role of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.

Actor Vikrant Massey will share the screen space with Deepika, who is also producing the film.

Deepika has joined the star cast of Ranveer Singh starrer '83, a film on Indian cricket team's World Cup win in 1983. She will portray the wife's role of Ranveer Singh, who is set to portray former skipper Kapil Dev onscreen.
