Dangal collects whopping ₹ 64.60 cr in 2 days

New Delhi, Dec 25 (IBNS): Even as Indians are worrying about their expenditure during the Christmas season owing to demonetisation, actor Aamir Khan Dangal is continuing to make havoc business after it released on Friday.

The film has managed to collect a whopping total of Rs. 64.60 crore only in two days.

"#Dangal is UNSTOPPABLE... Does EXTRAORDINARY biz on Day 2... Fri 29.78 cr, Sat 34.82 cr. Total: ₹ 64.60 cr. [incl Tamil and Telugu]," Film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

He said the film is doing brilliant in the international market as well.

"#Dangal continued its VICTORY MARCH in international arena on Sat... Some screens yet to report, so final total will be higher... @Rentrak," Adarsh posted.

"#TaareZameenPar, #Ghajini, #3Idiots, #Dhoom3, #PK and now, #Dangal... Aamir Khan's success ratio during Christmas remains 100%.," Adarsh wrote.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is a biopic of India's foremost wrestling family, the Phogats.

It stars Aamir Khan as former Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra as wrestlers Geeta and Babita Phogat respectively.

Dangal released on Dec 23, 2016 in India.
