Mumbai, Sept 5 (IBNS): Bollywood celebrities joined the rest of the nation in celebrating Teacher's Day as they shared their messages to mark the occasion on social media.

From funny tweets to thanking their teachers, Bollywood stars shared various kinds of messages on social media.

Actress Kajol tweeted: "Chal beta selfie le le re ........with the biggest teacher of all! #teacherlife."

Kajol actually took a selfie with an idol of Lord Ganesha.

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt posted: "UG burnt with passion and without purpose.He was not a guru,not a teacher!But he gave me the courage to stand ALONE!"

Actor Paresh Rawal remarked: "A teacher is the one who makes himself progressively unnecessary ...!."

Actor Arshad Warsi said: "Please give roses to your wife today......
