Bollywood actress Sridevi turns 54

Mumbai, Aug 13 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Sridevi, whose talent in acting has been appreciated for her performance in numerous movies, turned 54 on Sunday.

After her comeback in 2012's English Vinglish, Sridevi last appeared onscreen in this year's release Mom.

Sridevi was born on August 13, 1963 in Meenampatti village and in years she had gained recognition in the world of movies.

Wishing her, director Farah Khan tweeted: "Happy birthday to my favoritest @SrideviBKapoor .. there s no1 like you."

Actress Kajol said : "Wishing my most fav actor a wonderful year ahead @SrideviBKapoor. 50 years working and making it look easy ;)."

Actor Rishi Kapoor remarked: "@SrideviBKapoor Many Happy Returns of the day!"

Actor Abhishek Bachchan tweeted: "Wishing my favourite @SrideviBKapoor ji a very happy and healthy birthday."

Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur remarked: "Happy birthday to one of the best actresses I have ever worked with. Electrifying on and off screen @SrideviBKapoor."
