Mumbai, Jun 4 (IBNS): Dilip Sood Films on Tuesday unveiled the first look and theatrical trailer of upcoming Bollywood horror flick 'Bhaangarh', directed by Dilip Virender Sood, at a special event held in a cinema chain here.
The event was attended by Bollywood celebrities, the cast and crew of the film and media.

Written and directed by Dilip Sood, the film stars Puneet, Aneet Kaur Sekhon, Herry. T (LSD, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, etc.), Debonita Sur, Adeel Chaudhry, Suzzana Mukherjee and Tom Alter in key roles.

Produced by Dilip Sood, Ajay G Rai and Mayank Jain, ‘Bhaangarh’, is an edge-of-the seat full length horror film, loosely inspired by the legend of what is considered India’s only "officially haunted" place by the government of India – the legendary ‘Bhangarh Fort’, the makers noted.

The 2.40 minutes trailer of the movie is fast paced and holds the audiences on tenterhooks.

It maintains the mystical feel enhanced by spooky intriguing shots while giving a glimpse of the story.

Along with it, two posters were also revealed which grabbed the audience’s attention

Speaking at the occasion director of the film Dilip Sood said, “Since childhood I have been a huge horror fan with a special interest in Slasher and Psychological Horror films. Through Bhaangarh, I have tried to deviate from the traditional Indian horror film and give audiences a new experience which draws from both these sub-genres.”

Sood said,  “The film will surely take audience by surprise, keeping them guessing and scaring them at the same time. The movie deals with human emotion and how, when your worst nightmare comes true, it becomes impossible to tell between a friend from a foe.”

He added, “ We have tried to capture this essence and communicate it to audience through the movie’s trailer and poster.”

Slated for a Sept 5 release, 'Bhaangarh’ is a story of six friends who chose to ignore the Archeological Survey of India’s warning board outside its fort gate that states “Entering the borders of Bhaangarh before sunrise and after sunset is strictly prohibited. Legal action would be taken against anybody who does not follow these instructions”, leading to a mystical labyrinth of horror, deception and adventure that would keep audiences engaged right till the last shot.

The film also boasts of music by Adeel Chaudhry and Aniket, incorporating rhythms and sounds designed to intrigue and spook.

Other credits include story, dialogues and screenplay by Dilip Virender Sood, Harish Vyas, Taqi Imam and Shivani Thakur, Music by Adeel Chaudhry and Aniket Kar, cinematography by Suhas Rao and background score by Aniket Kar.
