Anushka-Varun Dhawan's Sui Dhaaga earns Rs. 36 crore at BO

Mumbai, Oct 1 (IBNS): Actress Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan's latest movie Sui Dhaaga has earned Rs. 36 crore at the Box Office till Sunday.

"#SuiDhaaga witnesses EXCELLENT GROWTH... Day 2 + Day 3 biz is a clear indicator that its target audience [families] have helped multiply the biz... Day 3 is *almost double* of Day 1... Fri 8.30 cr, Sat 12.25 cr, Sun 16.05 cr. Total: ₹ 36.60 cr [2500 screens]. India biz," tweeted film critic Taran Adarsh.

The movie released on Friday.

The movie brings together National Award winning producer-director combo of Maneesh Sharma and Sharat Katariya after their blockbuster Dum Laga Ke Haisha.

The film is a special salute to the inherent entrepreneurial spirit that the youth of India and its local artisans have.

The movie also features actor Anushka Sharma in the lead role.
