Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli urge people to stay indoors to combat COVID-19

Mumbai/IBNS: Actress Anushka Sharma and her cricketer husband Virat Kohli have urged people to stay at home to combat the deadly Novel Coronavirus.

Sharma and Kohli took to social media to share a video where the celebrity couple was seen urging people to stay indoors just as they were doing.

They said, "We know we are all going through a very difficult time and the only way to stop the spread of Coronavirus is by acting together. We are staying at home for our own safety and for everyone else's as well and you should do it too to prevent the further spread of the virus. Lets make it safe for us and everyone else by self-isolation. Stay home and stay healthy."

As of now, 196 people including the cured and deceased have been infected with Coronavirus in India.

The state of Maharashtra has recorded the maximum number of cases (46) followed by Kerala.
