Anushka Sharma rebukes commoners for littering, Kohli shares video

Mumbai, Jun 16 (IBNS): Perhaps giving a push to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has criticised some commoners who were seen throwing garbage on the streets.

The entire episode, in which Anushka was seen angry upon few people for littering, was shared by the actress' husband and Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli on social media.

The accused people were travelling in an another car.

Criticising the people, an irate Anushka said: "Why you throwing garbage on the road? Why you throwing garbage on the road? Yes, why you are throwing plastic on the road? Please be careful. You can't just throw plastic around like that only on the streets. Use the dustbin."

Sharing the video, Kohli also left a message on Twitter. He said: "Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same & spread awareness."

The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014.
