Mumbai, Sept 27 (IBNS): Launching the trailer of his upcoming Bollywood film Thugs of Hindostan, actor Aamir Khan on Thursday said he always had a dream to work with legend Amitabh Bachchan, who is also present in the same movie.

Aamir, who shared screen space with Bachchan for the first time in Thugs of Hindostan, said: "Always I had a dream (to work with Amitabh Bachchan). My experience was like a kid who goes to a chocolate shop and gets amazed by everything. My experience was like that kid.

"I used to sit beside (on sets) Amit ji (Amitabh Bachchan) everyday and get happy because I was sitting beside him and working with him....He is someone whom I have learnt from. He is someone who is so gracious from the first time I met him till today," he added.

Apart from Bachchan and Aamir, the film also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead roles.

The trailer, which takes audience back to the days of British Raj in India, promises a plot with conflicts between the East India Company and the Indians who wanted to free their country from Britain.

Bachchan, who is playing the role of Khudabaksh, will be seen in the trailer fighting for India's freedom. Aamir, playing the character of Firangi, has been portrayed as seemingly loyal to Lord John Clive, who was the commander of the company.

The character of Lord Clive, who is the villain in the film, has been portrayed by British actor Lloyd Owen.

The over three-minute trailer ends with a direct conflict between Khudabaksh and Firangi, played by Bachchan and Aamir respectively.

The film is also dubbed in Tamil and Telegu languages.

Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial Thugs of Hindostan is set to release on Nov 8, on the occasion of festival Diwali.
