Akshay Kumar's Housefull 4 earns Rs. 18 crore at BO

Mumbai/IBNS: Actor Akshay Kumar's latest released movie Housefull 4 made a healthy start on Friday as the film earned Rs. 18.85 crores on an opening day.

The movie released on Friday.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#HouseFull4 puts up a healthy number on Day 1... Biz did not grow in evening due to pre-#Diwali
festivities... Day 4 [Mon] is extremely crucial, when #Diwali celebrations begin and families throng cinema halls... Fri ₹ 18.85 cr. #India biz. #HF4."

Housefull 4, which is the fourth movie of the Housefull series, released along with other Bollywood movies like Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy-starrer Made in China and the Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Saand Ki Aankh.

Apart from Kumar, the movie features Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles.
