Actress Shilpa Shetty turns 39
Mumbai, June 8 (IBNS): Bollywood actress and Indian Premier League team Rajasthan Royals (RR) co-owner Shilpa Shetty Kundra turned 39 years of age on Sunday.
On her birthday, her husband and RR co-owner Raj Kundra wished her by tweeting: "Wishing my darling wife @TheShilpaShetty a fantastic birthday and eternal happiness thank you for being my pillar of strength always..love u."
Her son Viaan Raj Kundra also conveyed his wish through a tweet: "Happy birthday mummy @TheShilpaShetty thank you God for giving me the best mummy ever love you loads. Can I have some cake now please?? :-)"
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted: "Happy birthday @TheShilpaShetty . May the year ahead be filled with wonderful moments. Stay blessed!"
Shetty, who started her career as a model, made her acting debut in the film 'Baazigar' as a supporting actor that earned her a nomination for Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award.
As a leading actor she was first seen in the film 'Aag' in 1994.
Later, she was seen in several other hit movies like 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari', 'Aao Pyaar Karen' and 'Dhadkan' among others.
Shetty participated in Celebrity Big Brother UK and turned out to be the winner, garnering international acclaim.
In February 2009, Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra became part owners of the IPL franchise cricket team Rajasthan Royals.
Shilpa along with her husband recently produced 'Dishkiyaoon'.
She is also the owner of Satyug Gold.
