Actor Varun Dhawan turns 27

Mumbai, Apr 24 (IBNS): Bollywood's newest heartthrob Varun Dhawan turned 27 years of age on Thursday.

On his birthday, actor Riteish Deshmukh wished Varun by tweeting :"Happy. Birthday @Varun_dvn  have a great one."

Actor Sonakshi Sinha tweeted: "Happy Birthday @Varun_dvn!! Have a good one :)"

Posting a picture of Varun, Karan Johar  tweeted: "Happy birthday Varun!!! #tumerahero!!!"

The actor debuted in Karan Johar's 'Student Of The Year' along with Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt.

His very first film made his presence marked in the industry.

He also created a huge fan following with his first silver screen presence.

The film also made him bag a Filmfare nomination for Best Male Debut.

Varun was recently seen in the comedy flick 'Main Tera Hero'.

According to reports, Dhawan is presently filming for 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania', a romantic comedy from Dharma Productions alongside Alia Bhatt.

He has also signed on for two other projects—a sequel to the dance film 'ABCD: Any Body Can Dance' and Sriram Raghavan's untitled next in which he will play the role of a 60-year old man.
