Aamir's Dangal set to make ₹ 250 crore of BO collection in India

Mumbai, Jan 1 (IBNS): Aamir Khan's Dangal, which is creating a stir among cine lovers, is set to cross ₹ 250 crore of business in India on Sunday.

The movie has so far collected ₹ 239.01 core at the domestic box-office.

"#Dangal is on a RECORD SMASHING spree... Will cross ₹ 250 cr today [Sun]. [Week 2] Fri 18.59 cr, Sat 22.72 cr. Total: ₹ 239.01 cr. India biz," business analyst and movie critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Dangal made it to the 200 core club in only eight days since the film released.

The movie is also doing impressive business internationally.

"#Dangal is TERRIFIC internationally... OVERSEAS - Total till Sat, 31 Dec: $ 19.28 million [₹ 131.02 cr]... Some screens yet to report," Adarsh posted.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is a biopic on India's foremost wrestling family, the Phogats.

It stars Aamir Khan as former Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra as wrestlers Geeta and Babita Phogat respectively.

Dangal released on Dec 23, 2016 in India.
