Yogi Adityanath quits as Gorakhpur parliamentary constituency member

New Delhi, Aug 5 (IBNS): Yogi Adityanath quit as a member of the Gorakhpur parliamentary constituency in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.

He resigned from the post after nearly four months since he took oath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

Yogi Adityanath earlier in the day cast his vote for the vice presidential elections.

He tweeted: "आज उपराष्ट्रपति चुनाव 2017 में मतदान किया। #VicePresidentialElection (Today, I cast my vote in the vice-presidential polls)."

Yogi is likely to enter the  state legislative council as a member, reports said.
