Vice President condoles the passing away of Dileep Padgaonkar
In a message, he said that Padgaonkar was his cherished colleague on the National Minorities Commission and his passing away was a personal loss to him.

“I am deeply saddened to learn of the sad demise of eminent journalist Shri dileep Padgaonkar. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
A humanist and a tireless advocate of public causes, Shri Padgaonkar was a cherished colleague of mine on the National Minorities Commission. His passing away is a personal loss even as the nation has lost a brilliant editor and a voice for the marginalized.
I pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul.”
