New Delhi, Jan 2 (IBNS): The Centre's Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gnadhi, on Tuesday, inaugurated an online portal  called 'NARI' for empowerment of women, media reported.

The information will be updated on real-time basis, she said.

To start with, the portal will provide an insight into 350 government schemes and other important information.

There will also be links to Ministries, Departments and autonomous bodies offering these schemes as well as easy access to online applications and grievance redressal, media reported.
