Gowalior, July 23 (IBNS) : A two-year-old boy who fell into a 200-foot deep borewell in Gwalior last night and remained trapped inside for 20 hours has died, an NDTV report said.

RAvi Pachauri was returning from his farm in a village in Gwalior with his grandmother on Friday when he accidentally slipped into the borewell.

Rescuers had dug a parallel hole near the borewell and managed to pull him out after over 20 hours on Saturday. He was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Rescuers monitoring the boy for the last 12 hours say he has not shown any movement since morning.
