Two NDFB-S militants nab in Assam

Guwahati, Jan 23 (IBNS): Security forces on Monday apprehended two militants belonging to NDFB-S in Assam's Udalguri district, officials said.

Based on intelligence input, the troops of army’s Red Horns Division, under Gajraj Corps and Udalguri police, jointly launched operation and apprehended the militant duo.
The nabbed militants were identified as Sanjeev Basumatary alias B Swbra and Vinod Brahma alias Jathi.

Security personnel had recovered one country made 0.38 calibre revolver, ammunition in possession from them.

A top police official said the militants were involved in extortion and anti-social activities.
