Two missing Meghalaya boys rescued in Guwahati

Guwahati, Oct 5 (IBNS): Two students of Meghalaya's St Anthony's Higher Secondary School, who were allegedly kidnapped from Shillong, were rescued by Assam Police from Guwahati on Wednesday.

According to reports, the two boys from Latimukhrah in Shillong went missing since October 3. Relatives of the minors lodged an FIR at Latimukhrah police station.

Following the incident, Meghalaya Police contacted Assam Police and Guwahati City Police.

The boys were first detected in the Adabari area of Guwahati on Wednesday and later traced to Jalukbari area.

Subsequently, Assam Police handed over the duo to a Meghalaya police team.
