Two hard-core stone pelters arrested in Jammu

Srinagar, Oct 27 (IBNS): Two hard-core stone pelters who are allegedly involved in many incidents of violence and arson cases in Kashmir valley, were arrested from Jammu, police official said here on Thursday.

“A special team of Srinagar police arrested two hard core stone pelters Humair alias Nelcha and Zahid Rasool Shiekh of Nowhatta from Jammu,” a police statement reads.

Statement further added that arrested duo were involved in many stone pelting cases as also in the cases of arson and were evading arrest.

They are involved in many cases from 2010 and 2016 , cases have  been registered in Nowhatta and Khanyar police stations.

Kashmir valley witnessed several incidents of stone pelting since death of Hizb leader Burhan Wani on July 9.
