Tiruchirappalli, Dec 1 (IBNS): At least 10 people were killed as fire broke out in a gelatin factory in Tamil Nadu's Tiruchirappalli, reports said.

The mishap took place on Thursday morning, the Indian Express reported.

A spark may have triggered the incident.

However, heavy showers and thick smoke are hampering rescue operations.
