Mumbai, Sep 14 (IBNS) : The Bombay High Court on Thursday rejected the anticipatory bail applications of Ryan International School's founder and Chairman Augustine Pinto, Managing Director Grace and CEO Ryan Pinto, reports said.

The Court said that it will provide them interim protection from arrest till Friday, if they surrender their passports on Thursday.

Augustine Pinto, his wife Grace and son Ryan had moved the top court seeking anticipatory bail after the school became the centre of a storm following

the gruesome murder of a seven-year-old student inside the institute premises in Gurgaon on Friday last.

The Bombay High Court on Tuesday had granted interim relief to Augustine Pinto, Grace Pinto, and Ryan Pinto from getting arrested.

Ryan Pinto, the school group’s CEO claimed that the school was a victim of “unfortunate circumstances”

Pradyuman Thakur, a class two student, was found dead in a pool of blood inside the washroom with his throat slit open.

A conductor of the school's bus was arrested in connection with the incident. He allegedly confessed to have committed the crime after failing to sexually abuse the child.

As a massive outrage prevailed over the shocking incident, police have  arrested two top officials of the school while the Supreme Court has accepted a petition from the victim's father for a CBI probe into it.

Meanwhile, The CBSE on Thursday issued a circular with guidelines for schools, regarding safety of children in schools premises.
