Shivraj Singh Chouhan claims MP roads better than US, trolled on Twitter

Washington, Oct 25 (IBNS): Making a surprising comment, Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has claimed the roads in his state are better than the ones in the United States, inviting trolls on the micro-blogging site.

Chouhan made the comment in the US where he has gone to attract investments for his state in India.

While addressing a meeting, Chouhan, who is often criticised by the opposition parties for poor roads in MP, told media: "When I got down at the Washington Airport and traveled on roads, I felt the roads in Madhya Pradesh are better than the United States."

"I am not saying it just for the sake of it....We have connected all villages with roads," the CM said with a smile on his face.

However, Twitter users left no opportunity to troll the MP chief minister.

Ambrish Saxena called the CM a "laughing stock" for his claim. He tweeted: "Shivraj* Singh Chauhan -- what a laughing stock."

Sachin Krishna, however, has brought the Mandsaur incident to the context where several farmers were killed by the police.

"And in Madhya Pradesh, Mandsaur farmers were shot dead by police under BJP rule headed by Shivraj Singh Chauhan" he tweeted.

ShAm said on Twitter: "When the superior is expert in fekne mein then hum kyu peeche rahe shivraj singh chauhan ...#feku" which loosely translates to "When the superior (hinted at PM Modi) is expert in saying lies then why should I hold back......".
