Seven killed, three injured in Madhya Pradesh house collapse

Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, Aug 20 (IBNS) : At least seven people were killed and three seriously injured after a house in Madhya Pradesh's Rahatgarh collapsed due to heavy rainfall on Saturday morning, reports said.

Those killed included a woman and four minors.

All the victims were asleep when the tragic incident took place around 2 am.

Heavy rains for the past few weeks have created a flood situation in Madhya Pradesh, submerging  80 villages and affecting about 25,000 pople in Rewa and Satna districts.

The army have been called in to conduct rescue operations
