Seven dead and four injured as jeep in Garhwal region plunges into river
Dehra Dun, Nov 3 (IBNS): Seven people died and four injured in a road accident in Thalisain Tehsil of Pauri district of Uttarakhand on Thursday, according to media reports.
A jeep loaded with passengers fell 20 metre down into a river near Kotdwar.
Among the dead, two were brothers. A two-year old baby is among the injured.
It is suspected that the driver lost control of the vehicle as the condition of the road was bad, local media reported.
