Rio: Sakshi Malik defeated, still in contention for bronze medal
Rio, Aug 17 (IBNS): Indian wrestler Sakshi Malik was defeated in the women's freestyle 58 kg quarters event of the Rio Olympics by Russia's Valeriia Koblova on Wednesday.
The Russian defeated her 9-2.
The Indian wrestler still has a chance for clinching the bronze via the repechage after the Russian reached the final of the event.
Vinesh Phogat was out of the quaters following injury in the women's 48 kg freestyle quarters.
