Ram Vilas Paswan visits Trinidad and Tobago

New Delhi, Nov 1 (IBNS): Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Ram Vilas Paswan visited Trinidad and Tobago to strengthen bilateral ties and to promote goodwill between India and Trinidad and Tobago.

During the visit, Paswan called on Foreign Affairs Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Mr Dennis Moses in Port of Spain.

Recalling age old cultural ties between the countries, Paswan said Indian Government wants to further strengthen these ties.

Paswan also called on Agriculture Minister of Trinidad and Tobago,  Clarence Rambharat and offered cooperation in the field of Agricultural and fisheries.

Paswan addressed gathering of Indian Diaspora at Divali Nagar near Port of Spain and donated musical instruments at Indian Caribbean Museum.

During stay at London while returning back, Paswan administered “Ekta Divas” pledge at London High Commission yesterday and offered tribute to Sardar Ballabh Bhai on the occasion of Nation Unity Day.
