Rajnath Singh arrives Srinagar on three-day J & K visit, meets Mehbooba Mufti

Srinagar, Sep 9 (IBNS) : Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh met Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in Srinagar on Saturday, shortly after his arrival here on a three-day visit, reports said.

He will be in Kashmir from September nine to eleven.

According to reports, he will meet all the stakeholders to  discuss the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir, dogged by insurgency and frequent crowd upsurges.

Union Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba and other senior officers of the Ministry  are accompanying Singh.

The Home Minister will also review the progress of implementation of the Prime Minister's development package for the state.
