Rahul Gandhi went to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, detained

New Delhi, Nov 2 (IBNS): Delhi Police detained Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi at the Mandir Marg police station when he went to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital on Wednesday, according to media reports.

Ex-serviceman Subedar Ram Kishen Grewal, an ex-army man, who committed suicide regarding the One Rank One Pension (OROP) scheme, was taken to the Ram Manohar Lal hospital, the media reported.

The police has said that they will not allow any demonstrations to be held at the hospital.

According to police officials, Rahul Gandhi reached the hospital despite police advice, media reported.

The police has also detained the son of the deceased veteran at the hospital, media reported.

Earlier, the police had also detained Manish Sisodia and several former servicemen earlier in the day, media reported.

According to media reports, the family of the deceased veteran has said they will not agree to post mortem until the government accepts the petition that the veteran had wanted to submit.
