Rahul Gandhi meets Lalu Prasad Yadav in AIIMS

New Delhi, Apr 30 (IBNS): Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday visited the AIIMS in New Delhi to meet RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.

He is undergoing treatment in the hospital for various ailments.

The official Twitter handle of the RJD posted an image where Rahul could be seen interacting with Lalu in the hospital.

The party said Gandhi enquired about Lalu's health during his visit to the hospital.

The party tweeted:"Congress President Sh. @RahulGandhi Ji met RJD chief @laluprasadrjd Ji in AIIMS Hospital, New Delhi this morning and enquired about his deteriorating health condition."

A Ranchi court recently convicted and sentenced Lalu to several years in jail in fodder scam cases.
He has been lodged in Ranchi's Birsa Munda Central Jail since Dec 23.

He has been lodging in the jail since he was found convicted in Deoghar treasury case.
