Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicates IIT Gandhinagar building to nation

New Delhi, Oct 7 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Saturday, dedicated the newly constructed building of IIT Gandhinagar to the nation, according to media reports.

He arrived in Gandhinagar from Chotila, Surendranagar district.

Prime Minister is on a two-day visit to Gujarat.

On his arrival at Jamnagar earlier in the day, PM Modi was received by the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani.

From Jamnagar, PM travelled to Dwarka, where he visited the ancient Dwarkadish Temple before embarking to unveil a slew of projects in Dwarka and Chotila.

He laid the foundation stone for a greenfield airport for Rajkot; six-laning of Ahmedabad-Rajkot National Highway; and four-laning of Rajkot-Morbi State Highway.

He also dedicated to the nation, a fully automatic milk processing and packaging plant; and a drinking water distribution pipeline for Joravarnagar and Ratanpur area of Surendranagar.

Prior to that, he unveiled plaques to mark the laying of foundation stones for a bridge between Okha and Bet Dwarka; and other road development projects.
