President to visit Tamil Nadu tomorrow

New Delhi, May 3 (IBNS): President Ram Nath Kovind will visit Tamil Nadu on Friday and Saturday. 

On Saturday, the President will inaugurate the centenary celebrations of the Christian Medical College in Vellore. 

On the same day, he will also inaugurate the Kidney Transplant Unit and Cardiac Unit of the Sri Narayni Hospital and Research Centre in Vellore.

On Saturday, the President will commence his day with paying his tributes to Giani Zail Singh, former President of India on his birth anniversary. 

Later in the day, he will attend the 160th convocation of the University of Madras.

He will also be present at the 42nd convocation of the Guru Nanak College and inaugurate the Guru Amar Das Block and Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Auditorium of Guru Nanak College in Velachery, Chennai, before returning to New Delhi.
